SnapDock Classic 2.3.12

SnapDock Classic is a preserved legacy release. SnapDock 3 is the current and recommended version.

Classic is the original 2.x generation of SnapDock. The public website preserves version 2.3.12 as its final stable release for people who need the earlier workflow.

Availability

The SnapDock downloads page offers preserved Classic 2.3.12 assets for:

Windows installer;
Linux .deb;
Linux AppImage.

Use the original assets from GitHub Releases. macOS was not a supported Classic distribution.

Support status

Classic is preserved, not actively developed as the primary product. Current feature documentation, updater behavior, settings, screenshots, and troubleshooting target SnapDock 3 and should not be assumed to apply to Classic.

When reporting a Classic-specific problem, state version 2.3.12 and the exact package format. Fixes and new functionality should not be expected on the same schedule as current SnapDock.

Moving to SnapDock 3

Both generations work with ordinary Markdown files, so open the same .md files or folder in SnapDock 3. Application preferences, recent-file history, and open tabs are not a shared portable workspace format and may not transfer.
