Ecosystem Standards

A unified overview of standards across the ZFordDev ecosystem. Each branch — ZFordDev, SnapDock, and StaxDash — maintains its own standards, but all follow the same philosophy: simple, useful, and consistent.

ZFordDev Standards

The root standards that apply to all repositories. Covers documentation, repo hygiene, commit messages, versioning, and contribution rules.

SnapDock Standards

Standards specific to the SnapDock ecosystem — editor behaviour, workspace rules, file formats, and UX conventions.

StaxDash Standards

Standards for system tools, diagnostics, data formats, ARCUS architecture conventions, and module interoperability.

Standards evolve as the ecosystem grows. Each section will expand into its own documentation set.
