Version Wombat is actively laying the foundation for ecosystems Documentation.
Read the RoadmapDocsHub — Capybara
Capybara is the next major evolution of DocsHub and the first generation intended for public use.
Unlike the Wombat architecture page, this document is intended to grow alongside development.
Capybara is currently a future version, so this page acts as a lightweight development log rather than a finished specification. As work progresses, major architectural decisions, new capabilities, milestones, and changes in direction will be recorded here.
The goal is simple: document the journey as it happens, rather than only documenting the finished product.
Current Direction
Capybara is being built on the architectural foundations established by Wombat.
The intended public release will support both:
- Self-hosted DocsHub, including Docker-based deployment
- Hosted DocsHub, providing a managed service for users who prefer convenience over maintaining their own infrastructure
The exact feature set is expected to change as development progresses.
Development Log
This section will be updated as Capybara develops.
Major milestones, architectural changes, experiments, and decisions will be recorded here so the development of the next DocsHub generation remains visible and transparent.
Capybara is not finished yet. This page will change as the project does.
